India High Touch Sales Trading - Executive Director/Vice President

Responsibilities

• Execute client orders through direct market access, algorithmic trading, and block trading in a high-pressure environment.
• Provide sales trading coverage to clients, building trust through responsiveness and deep market understanding.
• Drive revenue and client franchise growth by leveraging technology, analytics, and idea generation.
• Manage all aspects of the trading desk, including pre-trade analysis, liquidity sourcing, and optimal strategy design for large trades.
• Collaborate with sales, research, and banking partners to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
• Monitor market drivers, index constituent changes, and supply/demand trends to support client strategies.
• Ensure strict adherence to risk management policies and legal/regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Sales Trading.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and technical skill set balanced with proven market instinct.
• Ability to communicate complex market concepts and variables effectively to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment in challenging trading environments.
