Index Setup Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of index setup, translating R&D methodologies into production-ready systems
• Set up indices in relevant systems using existing processes or by proposing necessary enhancements
• Operate and maintain existing processes to ensure timely and accurate index creation
• Seek opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Engage with R&D and Operations teams to translate product requirements into actionable tasks for Engineering teams
• Maintain high standards of quality control regarding data sources and methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor or Masters degree in Finance, IT, or a similar qualification
• At least 1 year of professional experience within the finance industry
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data
• High attention to detail and strict adherence to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business, operations, and IT functions
• Self-motivated and target-oriented mindset
• Proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working closely with IT teams
• Direct exposure to capital markets and asset management industries
