About the role
Responsibilities
- Chair Child Protection Conferences and statutory Child in Care reviews
- Ensure plans are robust, achievable, and centered on the child's needs
- Visit children to gather their views and ensure their voices are central to decision-making
- Scrutinize multi-agency planning and challenge delays
- Escalate concerns where necessary
- Monitor Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), Personal Education Plans (PEPs), and Health Assessments
- Promote restorative, child-centred practice
Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
