Independent In-Person EAP Provider

Responsibilities

• Receive client case referrals based on demand in your specific geographic area
• Provide consultations using a short-term, solution-focused, and goal-oriented approach
• Help clients identify, understand, and overcome personal challenges to achieve individual objectives
• Create a judgment-free environment that empowers clients to talk openly about their challenges
• Assist clients in finding external resources complementary to services when necessary

Requirements

• University degree in a field related to counselling (e.g., psychology, social work, psychoeducation, career counselling, sexology, or criminology)
• Active professional license and valid professional insurance
• Access to a physical office in Canada to conduct in-person sessions
• Experience with or a strong interest in providing short-term counselling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience providing intervention or coaching services to couples, families, or individuals aged 14 and older
• Strong knowledge of local community resources
