Income Auditor

Responsibilities

• Verify daily hotel revenue from all departments including rooms, restaurants, bars, spa, and laundry
• Audit daily transactions in Property Management System (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Reconcile cash, credit card, online payment, and bank transactions with sales records
• Review Night Audit reports to ensure accurate and complete postings
• Verify authorization for room rates, discounts, and promotional offers
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in revenue, billing, or payment records
• Prepare and distribute Daily Revenue Reports to management
• Monitor voids, refunds, rebates, and adjustments to prevent revenue leakage
• Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and internal controls
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Hospitality Management
• Experience in hotel accounting or income auditing preferred
• Knowledge of accounting software and hotel management systems
