Incident Response Analyst

Responsibilities

• Respond to security incidents within defined SLAs and escalation procedures
• Perform detailed investigations to determine attack nature, scope, impact, and vectors
• Analyze indicators of compromise (IOCs) and attacker activity
• Identify containment, eradication, and recovery actions
• Conduct root cause analysis and analyze attacker TTPs using MITRE ATT&CK
• Coordinate incident response activities with internal and customer stakeholders
• Prepare detailed incident reports, impact assessments, and remediation recommendations
• Support the development of incident response playbooks and investigation methodologies
• Participate in tabletop exercises and incident simulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or intermediate diploma minimum
• Minimum 3 years experience in cybersecurity/information security
• 1 or more years of experience specifically in incident response
• Valid NCSC-approved IR certification (e.g., ECIH, CCIM, Blue Team Level 2)
• Practical skills in log analysis, endpoint/network investigation, and malware triage
• Exposure to SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms
• Experience in an MSSP or SOC environment is preferable
