Inbound Supply Chain Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the inbound flow of production materials from purchase order release through logistics coordination and invoice follow-up
• Monitor material availability and communicate risks related to stockouts, capacity constraints, and phase-in/phase-out activities
• Define and maintain optimal ordering regimes, safety stocks, and replenishment parameters for production materials and spare parts
• Manage inventory levels, including safety stock, supplier-held stock, aging inventory, and overstock situations
• Track and improve key logistics KPIs such as supplier delivery performance, inventory health, shortages, and freight costs
• Lead, coach, and develop the Inbound Logistics team (typically 2–5 direct reports)
• Identify and mitigate operational, safety, and supply risks within the inbound logistics scope

Requirements

• Diploma, bachelor, or master degree in Logistics or a relevant field
• At least 5 years of experience in Logistics or Procurement
• Proven leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical, logical, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O is highly desirable
• Fluency in both Kannada and English
