Inbound Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end inbound flow execution from third-party copackers into the warehouse network
• Execute and analyze warehouse forecasting and deployment models to regulate inbound flows and capacity
• Partner with Supply Planning and Order Management to ensure timely order release and 3PL readiness
• Monitor open PO tracking and resolve inbound exceptions such as appointment issues or capacity constraints
• Monitor third-party dock-to-stock performance and ensure alignment on receiving priorities
• Analyze intermodal carrier performance to minimize dwell and detention charges
• Develop contingency plans and adjust inbound plans to mitigate risks like weather or transportation delays
• Host weekly alignment meetings with internal teams and 3PL partners to review forecasts and challenges

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management roles
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Experience managing or working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, or brokers
• Proficiency with ERP, TM, or WMS software (SAP or Mercury Gate preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and identify performance trends
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
