Inbound Billing and Settlement Staff

Responsibilities

• Manage settlements related to the freight forwarding business
• Process customer billing accurately and according to company policy and deadlines
• Audit carrier freight bills and interpret tariffs and contracts
• Improve settlement processes by developing automated workflows to reduce manual processing
• Prepare regular settlement status reports for management, customers, carriers, and headquarters
• Investigate and diagnose potential errors or duplicate carrier billing
• Manage, analyze, and prepare correction forms for billing in Access databases
• Reinforce relationships with customers and carriers through effective communication
• Review essential freight documentation required for payment and charge support

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Invoicing, or Customer Service
• Experience in the Transportation or Logistics industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically with v-lookups and pivot tables
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work overtime when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills in English and Korean
