Inbound Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound receiving, outbound shipping, quality control, production, and sanitation
• Maintain optimum productivity levels and cost efficiency to meet customer service metrics
• Lead and develop distribution center crews, providing real-time coaching, training, and performance feedback
• Ensure facility compliance with safety and food safety standards, including OSHA, HACCP, and Primus Inspection Standards
• Monitor inventory, supplies, and raw materials to ensure seamless daily operations
• Identify areas for process improvement through root cause problem solving and metric analysis
• Manage staffing levels, schedules, and recruitment to align with projected volume and projects

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inbound warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of efficient and safe warehousing practices
• Basic computer skills and manual dexterity for operating machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
• Ability to work full shifts in a temperature-controlled environment (as low as 35 degrees)

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience
• Experience in an inbound operation within a food environment
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
• Ability to deliver accurate and organized results under pressure
