In Vivo Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Execute in vivo experiments to determine ADME properties, pharmacokinetics, and biomarker responses in rodents
• Perform rodent handling, drug delivery via multiple routes (IV, SC, IP, PO), necropsy, and sample collection
• Collaborate with team members to develop and troubleshoot novel models for understanding drug metabolism and mechanism of action
• Independently document study data and maintain operating standards for in vivo studies

Requirements

• BS degree in animal sciences, biology, pharmacology, or a related scientific discipline
• 1-2 years of industry or academic experience
• Proficiency in rodent handling, including injections, sample collection, restraining techniques, and anesthesia
• Basic understanding of pharmacokinetic/pharmacology research and exposure/effect relationships
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an entrepreneurial discovery research environment
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules, including potential weekend work or overtime
