About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end visual merchandising design and production for Unilever Thailand's retail presence.
- Translate brand objectives and commercial goals into compelling in-store display concepts and planogram strategies.
- Manage the full design lifecycle from ideation and technical drawing to supplier briefing and in-store installation.
- Create detailed structural specifications for display units, gondola ends, and permanent fixtures.
- Manage vendor relationships, production budgets, and ensure quality compliance and on-time delivery.
- Partner with Brand, Shopper Marketing, and Sales teams to align visibility solutions with business priorities.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of three direct reports, including a Designer and Operations staff.
- Plan and manage the visibility investment budget, tracking spend and identifying cost optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in retail display design, shopper marketing, or visual merchandising.
- Proven experience working with Modern Trade accounts (e.g., Big C, Lotus's, Makro).
- At least 2 years of experience in a team leadership role.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Proficiency in 3D and structural design tools such as SketchUp or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of print production, material specifications, and structural fabrication processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within an FMCG, retail, or agency environment.
- Proficiency in digital design and prototyping tools like Figma or Canva.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect design decisions to commercial outcomes.
