In Room Dining Server

Responsibilities

• Take and place guest orders accurately using the POS system, ensuring correct timing and billing
• Deliver food and beverage items to guest rooms in an efficient and timely manner
• Communicate special requests or menu modifications to the kitchen staff
• Prepare guest checks accurately and process payments or signatures
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items to assist guests with selections
• Ensure food delivery is tidy and maintain inventory of snacks, beverages, and service items on carts
• Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Clean and maintain in-room mini-bars and report any malfunctioning units

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in customer service or the hospitality/foodservice industry
• Ability to meet minimum age requirements for food and alcohol service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to obtain relevant food handler and alcohol training certifications
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
