In-house Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Labour Managers to identify external recruitment needs for site-based roles
• Manage the full vacancy lifecycle, including creating job descriptions and posting to the careers page, job boards, and social media
• Actively source candidates for niche roles using LinkedIn and other professional tools
• Screen applicants through CV sifting and telephone interviews to provide high-quality shortlists to hiring managers
• Coordinate the interview process and provide timely feedback to candidates
• Manage the offer process, ensuring all salary and rate approvals are correctly obtained
• Coordinate with the HR Administrator to ensure all new hire paperwork and contracts are processed efficiently for payroll
• Build and maintain a robust database of skilled trades and labour candidates

Requirements

• Proven recruitment experience within the Construction or Civil Engineering industries
• Experience working in an in-house recruitment function or within a specialist recruitment agency
• Ability to work onsite at our headquarters in Orsett, Essex, 5 days a week
