In House Legal Counsel

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal advice to management and internal stakeholders on U.S. legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, and licensing agreements.
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and U.S. employment matters.
• Identify legal risks and propose practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate laws, data privacy regulations, antitrust laws, and export controls.
• Manage external counsel on litigation matters, including employment law, patent law, and commercial disputes.
• Maintain corporate records and monitor U.S. legal and regulatory developments affecting the company.
• Collaborate with the global legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment with group policies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in California.
• 10+ years of legal experience, preferably including in-house or a combination of law firm and corporate experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. commercial and corporate law.
• Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business advice.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
