In Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, teeth/mouth care, and skin care
• Assist with patient transfers (bed to chair, wheelchair, etc.) and ambulation using canes, walkers, or crutches
• Perform medication reminders and assist with dressing
• Prepare meals based on client dietary preferences and assist with feeding if required
• Perform essential household tasks and errands, such as accompanying clients to medical appointments or shopping
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment, including the safe use of equipment like oxygen and Hoyer lifts
• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure when ordered
• Utilize Electronic Visit Verification (E.V.V.) programs as applicable

Requirements

• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance
• Access to a dependable vehicle or reliable public transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ months of home care experience
• Current CPR certification or the ability to complete certification within 90 days of hire
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs
