In-Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Support clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Perform household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and dishes
• Cook and serve meals
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Drive clients to appointments or shopping trips
• Monitor and report on client conditions

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Active Washington state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Care Aide (HCA) license
• Ability to pass state and national background checks
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record
• Ability to transport clients in a personal vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required training if not already licensed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with heavy care tasks including personal care and heavy lifting
• Experience working with clients with cognitive disorders
