In Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Support clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Perform household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and dishes
• Cook and serve meals
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Drive clients to appointments or the store using a personal vehicle
• Monitor and report on client condition
• Utilize Hoyer lifts and gait belts as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift at least 10lbs and up to 50lbs occasionally
• Must own a smartphone with mobile app capabilities
• Ability to pass state and national background checks
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Ability to transport clients in a reliable personal vehicle
• Ability to complete state-required HCA training
• Ability to adapt to flexible schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience
• Memory care experience
• Weekend availability
