In Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Perform household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and dishes
• Cook and serve meals and provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Drive clients to stores or appointments as needed in your own reliable vehicle
• Monitor and report on client conditions
• Use Hoyer lifts and gait belts as required

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Own a reliable vehicle capable of transporting clients
• Own a smartphone with mobile app capabilities
• Ability to pass a state and national background check
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs and up to 50 lbs rarely
• Complete state-required caregiver/HCA training as needed within 120 days if unlicensed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred
• Memory care experience is a plus
• Weekend availability is a plus
• Comfortable or willing to learn Hoyer lifts and gait belts
