In Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Work split shifts Monday through Friday (8 AM – 12 PM and 4 PM – 8 PM) and weekend shifts (2 PM – 10 PM)
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Perform household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and dishes
• Prepare and serve meals
• Provide companionship through daily activities and hobbies
• Drive clients to stores and appointments as needed
• Monitor and report on client condition
• Support other activities of daily living as assigned

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift a minimum of 10 lbs and up to 50 lbs rarely
• Own a smartphone capable of downloading and using a mobile app
• Pass a state and national background check
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Able to transport clients in your own vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hoyer lifts
• Dementia care experience
• Mental health care experience
• Comfortable working in homes with pets and smokers
