In-Home Caregiver

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Perform household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and dishes
• Prepare and serve meals
• Provide companionship and engage clients in daily activities and hobbies
• Transport clients to errands and appointments using your vehicle
• Assist with gait belt and Hoyer transfers
• Monitor and report on client condition

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Active Washington State CNA or HCA license with current CE credits
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
• Ability to pass state and national background check
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Smartphone capable of downloading and using the AxisCare app

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable with fill-in shifts and shorter shifts across multiple clients per day
• Open to live-in shifts
• Memory care experience
• Comfortable working with all levels of care
• Comfortable transporting clients in personal vehicle
• Comfortable with cats and dogs
