IMS Core Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead IMS and fixed voice Performance Management and Design Planning for large CSPs
• Optimize IMS networks according to customer requirements and perform parameter tuning
• Conduct QoS, parameter, and capacity audits
• Perform KPI analysis and provide recommendations to improve customer satisfaction
• Execute impact analysis for network upgrades and changes
• Handle troubleshooting, analysis, and tracing using tools like PCAP and Wireshark
• Support technical discussions during RFP processes
• Manage the end-to-end IMS and Cloud Core network life-cycle, including planning, deployment, monitoring, and reporting

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in Deployment, Design, Planning, or Optimization of IMS Core Nodes (SBG, CSCF, TAS, etc.)
• Deep expertise in Ericsson IMS platforms (SBG, CSCF, MTAS, BGF)
• Strong knowledge of 5G Core technologies (PCC, PCG)
• Proficiency in troubleshooting IMS and Cloud Core networks using PCAP and Wireshark
• Strong understanding of network architecture and interfaces (MME, AMF, SGW, PGW, SMF, UPF, DNS, etc.)
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills
• Experience with automation concepts and Python or scripting is highly beneficial
