About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement efforts and partner with facility leaders to identify, prioritize, and implement capital and expense projects.
- Develop and implement plant-specific technology plans in alignment with global strategies.
- Optimize processes through technology, process projects, and Most Effective Technology (MET).
- Coach and direct Improvement Engineers on goals and development plans.
- Monitor and measure the implementation of technology plans and validate project performance objectives.
- Serve as a technology and data-driven change agent to improve safety, productivity, and quality.
- Champion the use of Management of Change (MOC) processes for equipment and material modifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 5+ years of experience as an engineer within a chemical plant.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record in leveraging technology and process optimization.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and goals effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Completion of a formal leadership development program.
- Project implementation and management experience.
- PMP certification.
