Import & Export Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the logistics team to oversee end-to-end international logistics operations and customs compliance
• Monitor international trade regulations and advise internal stakeholders on regulatory changes
• Oversee tariff classification and manage import/export permit submissions via TradeNet and CrimsonLogic
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities for timely clearance
• Manage end-to-end shipment coordination, packaging, and labeling for inbound and outbound activities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, production, procurement, and warehouse teams
• Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers
• Support logistics budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
• Drive process standardization, KPI management, and digitalization projects
• Lead and develop the logistics team through performance management and coaching

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline
• 6–8+ years of experience in import/export logistics or international freight operations
• 2–3 years of experience in a managerial role leading a team of at least 5 members
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, HS code classification, TradeNet, CrimsonLogic, and GST
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken)
• Experience managing freight forwarders and third-party logistics providers
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Transportation Management Systems, and Microsoft Office
• Cold chain experience in biotech, life sciences, or pharmaceutical sectors is an advantage
• Singapore Customs SC401 certification is an advantage
