About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with IMMEX and Mexican customs regulations
- Reconcile and analyze monthly physical inventory balances against system records
- Verify compliance with permitted storage periods for temporary goods and develop strategic solutions to avoid expiration
- Support the I/E Manager with VAT and AEO certification processes
- Audit and reconcile Annex 24 and Annex 30 reports
- Supervise the fixed asset analyst to maintain detailed records of all assets imported under IMMEX
- Conduct periodic physical audits of fixed assets and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with the I/E Manager to prepare inventory reports for SAT and Secretaría de Economía
- Identify and implement process improvements for inventory management and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IMMEX program management, including asset management and Annex 24/30
- In-depth knowledge of Mexican customs regulations and import/export processes
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Annex 24/30 software, and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with AEO and VAT certification
- Fluent in Spanish; English proficiency is preferred
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
