Import Documentation Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution of documentation protocols for import vessels to ensure compliance and timely shipment release.
• Resolve customer inquiries and requests via email and telephone, ranging from track and trace to complex change of destination requests.
• Perform detailed verification of documentation to ensure all customs and compliance requirements are met.
• Coordinate with overseas agencies to resolve issues and implement documentation changes.
• Maintain high performance standards in line with defined KPIs to ensure an optimal customer experience.
• Support internal stakeholders and develop professional relationships with the customer base and global agencies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation.
• Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken English and French.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating within ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
• Additional language skills.
