Implementation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead customers through the implementation journey from kickoff to launch readiness
• Configure customer environments, digital presence, branding, and communication settings
• Connect Almabase with existing customer systems and databases through integrations
• Guide customers in defining data structures and validating data imports
• Translate business requirements into technical implementation plans
• Coordinate with external website design and development partners
• Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve implementation challenges
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to customer-facing knowledge base articles

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in SaaS onboarding, implementation, customer success, or technical support
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience managing customer projects, timelines, and multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple implementations simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with CRM platforms, databases, or system integrations
• Experience in higher education, advancement, fundraising, or nonprofit technology
• Experience working with APIs or technical onboarding projects
• Knowledge of project management or onboarding tools
• Experience coordinating third-party vendors or agencies
