About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing and system operations including equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, and failure analysis for memory chip and logic production
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure equipment, processes, and systems run effectively
- Conduct failure analysis and use troubleshooting scripts to anticipate and resolve future failures
- Monitor equipment and processes in their current state and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
- Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to support system setup and quality testing
Requirements
- Associate degree or technical certification (equivalent to medical technologist or 4 years of technical military service)
- Electro-mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and implementation
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to work off-hours and rotating shifts if necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in continuous improvement within a fast-paced, changing environment
- Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts
