About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing and system operations including equipment calibration, preventative maintenance, and failure analysis for memory chip and logic production
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure equipment, processes, and systems run effectively
  • Conduct failure analysis and use troubleshooting scripts to anticipate and resolve future failures
  • Monitor equipment and processes in their current state and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to support system setup and quality testing

Requirements

  • Associate degree or technical certification (equivalent to medical technologist or 4 years of technical military service)
  • Electro-mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of hand tools, pneumatics, and electricity
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and implementation
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to strictly adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ability to work off-hours and rotating shifts if necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in continuous improvement within a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) concepts
