Implant Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting on semiconductor production equipment
• Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Breakdown Maintenance (BM) on Implanter and Anneal tool sets
• Conduct mechanical assembly and disassembly tasks
• Follow SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Utilize various systems such as SiMax, Workplace, Inform, EDM, and EMS for daily job roles
• Practice 6S principles in the office and fab, prioritizing safety in all procedures
• Cross-train on ion-implantation equipment and rapid thermal processing equipment

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• 2+ years of industrial manufacturing or similar experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems
• Understanding of Lean Principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or military technical experience
• Prior semiconductor experience with knowledge of 300mm AMAT VIISta, Axcelis Paradigm, Nissin Exceed, AMAT Centura, AMAT Vantage, Mattson Millios, or Veeco LSA platforms
