About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct breakthrough research on impact investment issues and ESG trends within the endowment management space
- Present research findings and novel recommendations to the Investment Committee twice per academic year
- Generate project ideas that align research interests with the goals of the Impact Investment Advisory Group (IIAG)
- Lead outreach to peer colleges and universities and assist in organizing the Impact Investment Symposium
- Meet weekly with the IIAG Coordinator to provide updates and receive feedback on project progress
- Engage with campus partners to communicate IIAG initiatives to relevant stakeholders
- Advance the college's engagement with the Intentional Endowments Network (IEN)
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive project elements
Requirements
- Enrolled student for the 2026-2027 academic year
- Sophomore status or above
- Availability on campus during both academic semesters
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated reliability
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Passion for social impact, climate change, or endowment management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with team-based research projects
- Knowledge of impact investing or social change initiatives
- Comfort with public speaking and presenting information to diverse groups
