Impact & Inclusion Communications Co-op

Responsibilities

• Write and upload stories to the company Intranet and other channels including social media, newsletters, and the corporate website
• Draft a monthly newsletter for internal stakeholders across Comcast and NBCUniversal
• Support communications and project management for the annual Impact Report
• Provide executive communications support, including managing speaking engagement trackers and briefs
• Copyedit and format various communications content
• Provide event support for Impact & Inclusion-hosted events
• Design content using Canva, such as calendar invitations
• Perform administrative tasks including meeting notes, transcribing speeches, and archiving photography

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at Drexel University with a cooperative learning track
• Available to work 40 hours per week for a 6-month period (September 2026 – March 2027)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong copyediting skills and proficiency in AP style
• Graphic design skills using Canva
• Ability to work in-person at the Philadelphia location
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Majors in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or Screenwriting
• Experience with volunteer programs or philanthropy
• Strong project management skills and ability to work as a self-starter
• Technical proficiency and ability to adapt to internal software and programs
