About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to investigate immune system mechanisms and pathways
- Lead research projects focused on innate and adaptive immune responses, immune modulation, and disease pathogenesis
- Develop and optimize in vitro and in vivo models to study immune function and therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including bioinformatics, molecular biology, and clinical research
- Present research findings at internal and external meetings, conferences, and through peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor and guide junior scientists and research associates
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant research experience (Research Scientist) or 5+ years (Senior Scientist)
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, ELISA, cell culture, CRISPR/Cas9, and molecular biology methods
- Strong understanding of immune cell biology, signaling pathways, and immune-related diseases
- Proven ability to design and execute complex experiments independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Postdoctoral experience
- Experience in drug discovery or translational research
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and data analysis
- Experience working with Non-Human Primate (NHP) immune models
- Expertise in non-viral delivery platforms and translational assay development
