About the role

Responsibilities

  • Receive training in lab research techniques to design, execute studies, and perform data analysis
  • Perform experiments and assays including immune cell isolation, cell culture, and flow cytometry
  • Support cell-based functional and reporter assays, as well as sample processing for PK/PD studies
  • Use mRNA products to characterize the activity of immuno-oncology therapeutic proteins in vitro and in vivo
  • Maintain an organized work area and detailed electronic lab notebook
  • Analyze experimental data and present findings at group and team meetings

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a major in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field
  • Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, MA for the full duration of the program (July 13 – December 11, 2026)
  • Must hold current US work authorization without the need for future sponsorship
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical experience in mammalian tissue culture, cell transfection, and cell-based assay development
  • Prior experience with flow cytometry and relevant data analysis software
  • Previous co-op experience in a research setting
  • GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
