Immigration Specialist

Responsibilities

• Kick off new immigration cases including H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3, PERM, and Green Card
• Track active cases in a case management system, maintaining accurate status and deadlines
• Serve as the primary immigration resource for recruiters regarding visa eligibility and transfer mechanics
• Act as the day-to-day liaison between the company and external immigration vendors
• Review petitions and filings prepared by counsel for accuracy and completeness
• Manage USCIS correspondence, including approval notices, RFEs, and NOIDs
• Coordinate immigration-related onboarding tasks such as I-9 completion and E-Verify
• Maintain a real-time immigration tracker and monitor LCA postings for compliance

Requirements

• 3–5 years of corporate immigration experience in-house or at a law firm
• Hands-on experience with H-1B petitions, transfers, extensions, and PERM
• Familiarity with O-1, TN, E-3, L-1, and Green Card (EB-2/EB-3) processes
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with case management tools
• Meticulous attention to deadlines and document accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a high-growth tech or AI/cloud computing company
• Familiarity with I-9/E-Verify compliance administration
• Experience working with multiple external immigration vendors
• Exposure to international immigration (Canada, UK, EU)
