Immigration Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in procedural and processing requirements for various business non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions with USCIS and consular applications
• Communicate effectively in Japanese and English with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and other stakeholders
• Independently analyze case documents and prepare business immigration applications for attorney review and submission
• Take ownership of case docket and ensure timely communication
• Assist with review of Japanese-language documents and communications
• Stay up to date with immigration developments and share information with the team

Requirements

• Fluency in Japanese and English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience preparing business immigration applications with USCIS and Consular processing
• Demonstrated understanding of visa petitions such as E1/E2, L1A/L1B, L Blanket, H, L, TN, O, P, PERM, I-140, and AOS
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent training, education, and experience
• Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while handling a high volume of cases
