Requirements

J.D. Degree, U.S. state bar admission, 1-4 years immigration law experience, Humanitarian immigration case experience, Spanish fluency preferred

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare humanitarian immigration cases for clients with USCIS and the EOIR, including removal defense, asylum, T/U visas, VAWA, adjustment of status, naturalization, and work authorization
  • Conduct immigration legal intakes and screenings
  • Provide trauma-informed legal services to survivors of human trafficking and individuals involved in the sex trade

Requirements

  • J.D. Degree and admission to any U.S. state bar
  • 1-4 years of immigration law experience
  • Experience working on humanitarian immigration cases
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people across diverse cultures and backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • DOJ Accredited Representative status
  • Fluency in Spanish
