Requirements
J.D. Degree, U.S. state bar admission, 1-4 years immigration law experience, Humanitarian immigration case experience, Spanish fluency preferred
About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare humanitarian immigration cases for clients with USCIS and the EOIR, including removal defense, asylum, T/U visas, VAWA, adjustment of status, naturalization, and work authorization
- Conduct immigration legal intakes and screenings
- Provide trauma-informed legal services to survivors of human trafficking and individuals involved in the sex trade
Requirements
- J.D. Degree and admission to any U.S. state bar
- 1-4 years of immigration law experience
- Experience working on humanitarian immigration cases
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people across diverse cultures and backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications
- DOJ Accredited Representative status
- Fluency in Spanish
