About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with external immigration counsel to support the full lifecycle of employees' immigration journeys
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and candidates on immigration matters
- Maintain immigration compliance by tracking visa expirations, work authorization status, and key deadlines
- Advise on mobility policies and coordinate international relocation with external management companies
- Analyze immigration data and trends to inform strategic planning and process improvements
- Collaborate with Recruiting to advise on visa sponsorship considerations
- Contribute to internal immigration resources, process documentation, and employee communications
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in corporate immigration, global mobility, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of US immigration law and visa categories (H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, PERM, etc.)
- Experience managing immigration and/or global mobility case workflows
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- In-house experience working with external immigration counsel
- Familiarity with international immigration requirements
- Experience with Workday
