About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide quality diagnostic images, comfort, and care for patients and employees
- Review orders for appropriateness and verify physician orders
- Perform ultrasound procedures in a safe, caring, and timely manner
- Produce quality images and reports for radiologist interpretation
- Maintain professional expertise and pursue professional growth
Requirements
- Education program approved by the ARDMS with clinical experience in ultrasound
- ARDMS registry certification in at least one area or registry eligible
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in ultrasound
- ARDMS Breast (B) or Vascular (RVT) endorsement
