Imaging Receptionist

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and acute trauma patient reception in the Imaging Department
• Perform clerical duties at desks and counters
• Use IS systems to order and adjust patient orders in the Meditech HIS/RIS
• Schedule patients via CWS and provide verbal and written preparation instructions
• Ensure all scheduling and computer input is correct for Imaging Services, including medical necessity screenings and preauthorization
• Assist the Imaging Director, Radiologist, and Radiology PA as directed

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Minimum keyboarding speed of 50 WPM
• Knowledge of 10 key
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to comprehend, retain, and apply information
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

• Experience in office procedures
