Imagery Scientist (EO) Expert

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead technical authority for EO exploitation and imagery science initiatives
• Analyze EO collection capabilities, sensor phenomenology, and image formation processes
• Exploit imagery to identify and locate objects of interest across intelligence scenarios
• Develop, test, and evaluate new algorithms, exploitation methodologies, and automated processing techniques
• Utilize Python, MATLAB, and Google Earth Engine for advanced processing
• Support automation of EO scientific processing and analysis workflows
• Assess emerging EO sensor characteristics and evaluate impacts to metadata, data formats, and operational pipelines
• Develop strategies to pre-process, normalize, and standardize EO imagery datasets
• Collaborate with SAR Imagery Scientists to align EO imagery with temporal and geographic collection windows

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain CI/Poly
• 4+ years of expert EO imagery exploitation and imagery science experience
• Expertise in EO collection systems and remote sensing phenomenology
• Experience developing and evaluating algorithms and scientific workflows
• Hands-on experience with Python, MATLAB, and Google Earth Engine
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying Computer Vision (CV) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to EO imagery and data
