IM/IT Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, maintenance, and installation of workstations, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
• Manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for network and stand-alone systems.
• Resolve service requests via the Trouble Ticket Tracking system within established timelines.
• Perform LAN/WAN administrator tasks, including cabling, hardware maintenance, and monitoring performance.
• Manage user accounts within the Medical Joint Active Directory (MJAD) and ensure Information Assurance compliance.
• Assist with asset management, inventory tracking, and life-cycle program support for equipment.
• Conduct cybersecurity scanning and mitigate vulnerabilities on desktops and servers.
• Monitor server room environments, including UPS, air conditioning, and door alarms.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of helpdesk or systems administration experience.
• At least one year of specialized experience related to Military Treatment Facility Information Systems.
• Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification (must meet DoD 8570.01-M requirements).
• Ability to pass a background check to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Proficiency with Windows 10, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
