IKEA Food Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support taking orders through the cash register at Swedish Food Market & Bistro
• Assist with processing food orders at the bistro counter
• Help prepare meal ingredients and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation areas
• Support in cleaning and sanitising food preparation areas according to hygiene standards
• Assist with unloading delivered food supplies, checking stock inventory, and ensuring accuracy
• Practice First-In-First-Out (FIFO) to ensure freshness and quality
• Adhere to operating procedures and Food Safety and Hygiene practices

Requirements

• Motivated and responsible with good time management skills
• Ability to work as a team player and independently
• Ability to withstand prolonged hours of standing in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work AM/PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays
