IHC Laboratory Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee IHC and FISH analyses and support assay development
• Manage testing personnel and ensure adherence to CAP/CLIA and GxP guidelines
• Develop and manage staff schedules and rotation
• Ensure laboratory procedures are performed in accordance with SOPs
• Manage accurate sample tracking and documentation within LIMS
• Monitor and report KPIs including turnaround time and quality events
• Oversee laboratory equipment maintenance and workspace cleanliness
• Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies, reagents, and consumables
• Evaluate and improve laboratory procedures and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
• 8+ years of industry experience in a clinical, diagnostic, or CRO laboratory
• Hands-on IHC assay experience
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a CAP- or CLIA-regulated laboratory
• ASCP certification (HT or equivalent)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge in biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology, or cell biology
