About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily electrical and instrumentation duties, including diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of facility systems
  • Install, maintain, and repair automation controllers (Allen-Bradley, Altronic, Murphy), devices, and communication equipment
  • Maintain and repair electrical circuits, transformers, and MCCs with voltages ranging from 24V to 4160V
  • Execute basic calibration on instrumentation including pressure, flow, temperature, and level transmitters
  • Install and repair electrical components such as heat trace, lighting panels, VFDs, motors, and transformers
  • Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in accordance with facility safety procedures
  • Collaborate with Facilities Mechanics and Operations on equipment repairs

Requirements

  • 5 years of on-the-job experience or an equivalent degree
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, one-lines, and P&IDs
  • Valid driving record meeting company standards
  • Ability to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
  • Ability to work in various environments, including outdoors and extreme weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical Journeymen’s License
  • Experience with medium voltage VFDs
