I&E Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment, instrumentation, analyzers, and electrical systems
• Calibrate and maintain plant instrumentation including transmitters, valves, and switches
• Troubleshoot plant control system issues and assist in installing new control systems
• Maintain and repair PLCs, computer equipment, and single loop controllers
• Complete and document preventative maintenance (PM) in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Manage spare parts inventory for instrumentation and control systems
• Support the operation, start-up, and shut-down of compressors and cryogenic bulk liquid systems
• Collaborate with contractors and evaluate the quality of their work
• Perform job functions in alignment with company HSE standards and report any safety incidents

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 8 years of I&E experience
• Experience working in a plant environment
• Knowledge of pneumatic and electronic controls
• Familiarity with DCS systems, analyzers, transmitters, and valves
• Ability to be on-call and respond to plant sites within two hours when required

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree
• Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Strong understanding of MCC/switchgear operation and safety
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
