IE Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support capacity evaluation, resource optimization, and continuous improvement of production efficiency.
• Establish standard working hours and personnel quotas to serve as a basis for efficiency improvement and cost evaluation.
• Plan factory layouts, optimize logistics, improve space utilization, and optimize pipeline processes.
• Improve working modes and line balance to increase efficiency through operational and process analysis.
• Improve processes and tooling to enhance production efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
• Proven track record in process improvement and optimization projects.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proficiency in work measurement, stopwatch time studies, and Standard Time (ST).
• Familiarity with 5S, TPM, the 7 wastes, and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
• Experience creating SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), and workstation optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD or Visio for drawing production line layouts and process flowcharts.
• Capable of basic data analysis and efficiency/uptime rate calculation.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
