About the role
Responsibilities
- Accomplish IDG/Generators repairs and/or alterations in accordance with parts 43 and 145 of the Code of Federal Regulations
- Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and reassemble power generation components
- Utilize technical manuals, drawings, and engineering documentation to perform maintenance tasks
- Identify component defects and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with aviation standards
Requirements
- High school diploma required; technical or trade school preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documentation in English
- Basic knowledge of handling electrical measuring equipment
- Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications
- A&P certification
- Experience performing full maintenance in accordance with Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM)
- Knowledge of balancing rotors
