IDG Technician

Responsibilities

• Accomplish IDG/Generators repairs and/or alterations in accordance with parts 43 and 145 of the Code of Federal Regulations
• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and reassemble power generation components
• Utilize technical manuals, drawings, and engineering documentation to perform maintenance tasks
• Identify component defects and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with aviation standards

Requirements

• High school diploma required; technical or trade school preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation components
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory documentation in English
• Basic knowledge of handling electrical measuring equipment
• Proficiency with basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

Preferred Qualifications

• A&P certification
• Experience performing full maintenance in accordance with Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM)
• Knowledge of balancing rotors
