IDC Business Partner

Responsibilities

• Strategically manage and develop relationships with Independent Delivery Contractors (IDC) to ensure productivity, compliance, and profitability.
• Align IDC performance with company strategic objectives using KPIs and data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with Operations, Network Planning, and Business Development to assess future delivery needs and ensure sufficient capacity.
• Act as a mediator and advocate, resolving grievances and building trust-based relationships with partners.
• Facilitate transparent communication regarding policies, services, and performance expectations.
• Engage regularly with field stations and frontline teams to gain operational insights and refine strategic initiatives.
• Ensure all partnerships comply with independent contractor regulations, labor laws, and company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field plus 6 years of work experience, or an MBA with 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, vendor management, or account management.
• Expertise in KPI analysis, performance monitoring, and using BI dashboards.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing external partners, contractors, or vendors.
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to travel regularly to support field operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating a small business or understanding contractor realities.
• Background in vendor or franchise network management.
• Exposure to HR or labor relations, specifically regarding contractor models.
• Leadership experience in a fast-paced, field-based operational environment.
