ICT Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight on ICT/ELV design deliverables, including shop drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Monitor on-site ICT/ELV installation activities to ensure alignment with approved drawings, methods, and sequencing.
• Conduct site inspections and witness works to verify workmanship quality and compliance with client standards.
• Coordinate ICT/ELV interfaces with MEP, CSA, IT, DCIM, BMS, and security teams.
• Witness structured cabling testing and certification for both fiber and copper systems.
• Verify correct implementation of redundancy, segregation, labeling, and A/B path architecture.
• Track installation progress against schedules and flag risks to milestones or commissioning windows.
• Monitor contractor QA/QC implementation, including snagging, NCR management, and corrective actions.
• Support staged and final handover, including the review of O&M manuals and asset registers.
• Enforce adherence to site HSE policies and safe working practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in site supervision and inspection of ICT and ELV systems.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems specifically within data center environments.
• Hands-on experience with fiber optic backbone and copper cabling installation.
• Technical knowledge of ICT rooms, MDF/IDF setup, and containment systems.
• Ability to review shop drawings, coordination drawings, and technical submittals.
• Experience supervising installations for CCTV, ACS, PA, AV, and BMS interfaces.
• Proficiency in quality control and compliance verification against project specifications.
• Ability to identify technical risks, design clashes, and sequencing issues on-site.
