ICT Pre-Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead during the sales cycle, translating customer requirements into end-to-end ICT architectures.
• Lead technical discovery sessions to analyze environments and identify business pain points.
• Present solution proposals, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Design architectures covering compute, storage, networking, and security layers.
• Produce high-quality technical diagrams, statements of work, and bills of materials.
• Manage tender and RFP processes, including reviewing documents and crafting detailed technical responses.
• Size, price, and optimize configurations in collaboration with OEM and distribution partners.
• Ensure proposed solutions adhere to regional regulations and frameworks like ISO 27001 or NIST.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or systems architecture.
• Proficiency with Tier-1 vendors such as Dell EMC, HPE, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or VMware.
• Strong technical knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, virtualization, and high-availability systems.
• Proven experience contributing to and winning enterprise or government tenders in the GCC.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, NSE 4-7, PCNSE, VCP, or CISSP.
• Deep understanding of emerging technologies like SASE, Zero Trust, and AI-enabled security.
